GENERAL BEETLE INFORMATION
Beetles requirements can vary greatly so please look at the requirements of each beetle!
Leaf beetles eat a range of food, usually eucalyptus. However, they often need a specific species of eucalyptus. The species will be given for each beetle. These beetles are super easy to breed. The beetle live during the summer months then usually die, but can live longer if kept warm.
Carabidae is the other most common beetle sold here at Outback Bugs. These species are much more easy to care for feeding on crickets and other bugs, even dead bugs. Most Carabidae are active during the summer but can live for 2-3 years if looked after properly and feed regularly.
