Clown bugs are like many other true bugs like crusader bugs sucking on fresh eucalyptus leaves, Their care is basically the same as stick insects, just place new leaves once a week or when drying out. These species are communal making them great display insects. They can live with Crusader bugs, clown bugs and leaf beetles happily- basically any friendly eucalyptus feeding insect. Now these are true insects and like most they make a smell when touch. These insects are harmless and safe to hold. once adults clown bugs look more like crusader bugs that can fly and are a light brown.
