Crusader bugs are like many other true bugs like clown bugs sucking on fresh eucalyptus leaves, Their care is basically the same as stick insects, just place new leaves once a week or when drying out. These species are communal making them great display insects. They can live with Crusader bugs, clown bugs and leaf beetles happily- basically any friendly eucalyptus feeding insect. Now these are true insects and like most they make a smell when touch but this smell is often sweet and quite nice. These insects are harmless and safe to hold.
