Description

These bright coloured beetles are around 1cm in  size and can live with different species of leaf beetle as long as there is tea-tree (leptospermum sp.) or wattles (Acacia sp.) branches in the enclosure. They are peaceful and can he handled with care. This small beetle is around 1cm and lives in large communities and they rapidly breed so getting large colonies is very easy with this species. They lay eggs in soil where they feed on roots but potato will work.
