Description

This is a large (30mm) aggressive ground beetle with lots of personality. They can live together if they are well fed and their exoskeleton protect them from each other, however very hungry beetles can kill other beetles and if one beetle is larger than the other beetles it maybe able to kill the smaller ones. We keep them in groups and feed them Predatory invert jelly twice a week. They find it very hard to eat each other due to their insanely hard exoskeleton but if they go weeks without food they will try very hard to eat other! These beetle can live for many years with some of ours now 3 years old and looking strong. They always live on red soil and burrow during the day.

We feed all ours solely on our Predatory Invert jelly.
